USMLE Review Books

There are several highly rated USMLE books (Step 1, 2 and 3) including: USMLE Secrets Series, Kaplan or Lippincott's Reviews, and Appleton and Lange's Review.  In addition, some students have also found First Aid and NMS most useful for Step 1 and the Blueprints Series most useful for Step 2. Depending on your personality, you may find interactive software to be helpful. USMLE Tests

Of course it is very important to visit the official website of the USMLE (mentioned above) to download the sample test materials which are free. Many of the books mentioned in the Review Books section above also have mini-tests. A particularly realistic simulation is Step 2 Mock Exam (Brochert). Besides these materials, you might find on eBay some past test material not exactly available in your local bookstore.
